Server downtime today at 4:15pm (Wed 17-Dec-2025 at 14:18)
All Department members:
An update to mail, web, pump, users, seminars, and outreach (mathplus) servers will be applied and they will be rebooted starting at 4:15pm today Wednesday, December 17th. Some updates will be applied somewhat earlier if it appears that the impact on the system should be minimal, so minor software issues may be noticed. We expect that the servers will be back up around 5:00pm if there are no unforeseen problems.
RT systems users:
Additionally, the virtual machines which include all request tracker instances (rt-adminXXX), TAPP, and roster, will be rebooted later in the evening between 8pm and 9pm.
Staff members:
The remote drives (H, K, etc.) will be rebooted at 4:30pm. Please make sure that prior to that time you have saved all your files and closed any programs accessing the drives (ideally you can just log out of your account). We expect the server to be back online by 5:00pm if there are no unforeseen problems.
